ACTION. Vision. Service. While most talk about having these traits, I live by them.

Throughout my life, I have maintained a focus on community and philanthropy; supporting these things with my time, service, and financial gifts. I am a proud Houston-based business owner and leader who continuously represents and advocates for her community.

Raised in a military family, living in various parts of the United States, my experiences helped me to better understand the outlook of America. Seeing the challenges in education, immigration, infrastructure, healthcare, business, voting, human rights, and gun rights to name a few, fuels me as a person of change and an example to others to make a difference.

No matter how much others say “they” can make a difference, I understand that it cannot be done alone. It starts by having a plan. A plan in which we all come together and work diligently on #BuildingBetterTogether.

Affectionately called “CReed” by many, I am a passionate philanthropist unafraid to do what it takes to build foundations for growth, wellness, and prosperity. As a Board member of Center for Houston’s Future, I hold the responsibility of organizational governance leading Houston’s top professionals in engaged efforts regarding the pressing issues facing the 4th largest city in the U.S.; Healthcare, Infrastructure, Education, Housing, Energy, Health Equity Immigration, and more.

As the President of the International Entertainment Partnership (IEP), and Houston Entertainment Initiative (HEI), I am charged with expanding infrastructure in the form of studios and programming, financial opportunities in the way of grants and jobs, educational platforms, strategic partnerships, and collaborations to bolster up our creative workforce aimed at making Houston an entertainment hub and destination for our business and community stakeholders in the Greater Houston region.

For six years, I served on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run Greater Houston, a nonprofit 501c (3) organization that builds confidence and healthy habits in young girls while unlocking their limitless potential through fun running activities in an afterschool program serving Ft. Bend, Harris, and Montgomery county schools and YMCAs. My continued efforts to support numerous other charitable causes including homelessness, outreach centers, natural disaster relief organizations, and child advocacy.

Our communities deserve a Leader courageous enough to do what is necessary, uncommon, and most importantly right.
